I love dive bars. The prices are right and I haven't met a bartender I didn't like. If you're in Boston, check it out. My only critique is that the men's room could stand a good cleaning... I mean a really good cleaning.
Local irish pub. Just had a drink here and charged my phone. Very nice bartender. Reasonably prices.
Dive bar in Boston,
Friends found amidst the chaos,
Romance blooms in haze.
Dim lights and cramped space,
Bathroom's seen its fair share,
Tips exchanged with thanks
Cheap drinks, overflowing,
Bartenders, loyal and true,
Cheers to late nights out.
What a great Bar! Visiting Boston for the day we were looking for a place to get a away from the heat and grab a drink. We round the corner and The Tam was our salvation! It has a good ole bar feel to it, with a bit of Irish Charm. We cozied up to the bar and Rocky III was on the tube. We got a couple of drink and cheered Rocky on vs Clubber Lang. We were quite appalled that the Bartender knew nothing about Rocky, but he was a good sport with our ribbing. Looked like they have a bunch of regulars that frequent the bar. We had a great time time and enjoyed ourselves very much here. I would highly recommend if you are looking for to chill and have a few drinks.
What a place. This was by far the best pub/bar we visited whilst in Boston. Cheapest prices we found in the area and the atmosphere was unmatched. Staff were really friendly and we made friends with such lovely people. Haven’t stopped raving about this place and couldn’t recommend more if you’re looking for a fun spot to drink!
Best little dive bar in Boston! Loved this place, my go-to low-key spot when I visit for sure
This is a real bar. When you walk on and The Clash are on you know you're in safe hands. No pretence and no pretentious types. The staff are warm, happy and welcoming. Prices are good and so is the beer. Plenty of other bars around this area but this is gold in a sea of plastic.
I enjoyed it for what it was. The staff were friendly and quick to serve. The prices are good but it was BUSY. You could barely move when we went… which is great for business but not my cup of tea! Too stuffy and loud for me. Otherwise, it’s worth checking out if you’re in the area !
